Training was something that Justin did when he needed to get away from everything around him. Justin didn't mind where he was, he was still with his best friend Feli who needed him right now. He needed her too honestly, he was so confused on everything right now. Did he need to be looking for someone to date right now or should he be more worried about his best friend? He was not a selfish person in his mind, he cared more about the others around him than himself. Which in the end might cost him his life one of these days. Justin really needed to put Feli and the Romans around him before anybody else. He did care about all Romans where ever they may be, but the ones still with Rome he needed to protect more. It was not in his nature to let any Roman suffer though, during the war he helped a lot of Romans make it out of the battle. It was not an easy thing to do and he knew that. He needed to help as many as he could though, they were his family. They still are his family no matter what everyone thinks. Justin had his trusty sword with him that he carried everywhere with him. He didn't feel safe without it next to him. He got it just before the war started and it had saved his life many times over during the war. If he lost it he would no longer feel safe in his own mind. He could be in the safest place on the earth but without his sword he would not feel so safe. It was the one thing that meant the world to him other than Feli. Feli was well for a gay guy she was sexy. If he had been straight or something he might have tried to date her or something but he was not straight. He was gay and only liked men, well sexy guys anyway. He did have a soft spot for guys who looked young and had a baby face though. Mostly he had a hot spot for men with muscles and tattoos anyway. Feli knew who would be his type and who wouldn't so most of the time when they went out to a bar they went together to be each others wingmen. It was funny to think about a girl being a wingman but Feli was his. Justin took his sword out of its hilt and went over to a makeshift dummy that everyone put together. He tried so hard not to break any of them but sometimes his anger got the best of him when he trained. He didn't mean for it to but sometimes it would get the best of him and he hated it. When training he tended to think only about the bad things going on around him and he didn't understand why he thought that way. Soon he sliced the dummies head clean off it's shoulders. Justin put the sword back into it's hilt and he sighed. He ran his hand through his black hair and sighed a little bit. Why did he always do that? What was going to happen next time there was a war? If he could not get his anger under control he might end up hurting himself during an actual fight. Word count: 562 Tagg: Open

Let's live tonight like fireflies
One of the things Felicity really needed to acquire for the camp was an unlimited supply of training dummies. They kept breaking the ones they already had and honestly, they were complete crap. She could understand why they were so destroyed though, fighting was a way to release stress or anger. Even she trained hard against them and was just as equal towards their cause to destruction as everyone else was, if not more so.
She would push people to spar more with each other rather than dummies but finding an adequate partner was the tough one. Half the people here were either too powerful or too clumsy. She supposed she could always try a mentor service, pairing those who are powerful with those who are weaker. But then came the, would anyone actually do it. People listened to her, yeah, on occasion but she was no Cato. They probably just didn't want to get on her bad side, with her being a daughter of Pluto after all. But she wasn't born with the leadership skills Jupiter kids got or the commanding authority Neptune kids got either. She got the shadows, staying back and dealing with the dark. She would make a better assassin than a leader, but yet here she was being a leader. Oh well, maybe she had a better knack for it than she gave herself credit for.
She decided to leave the confides of her tent and walk around, inspecting the small camp. People were milling about, some people talking and laughing as if nothing bad had ever happened, others retreated into their own tents alone or with someone else thinking there was no more restrictions. Of course it wasn't ideal but they had just been through a war and there was always a battle waiting around. Who was Felicity to say they couldn't indulge in simple human pleasures? Even she seeked them out occasionally when she had been partaking in drinking and was feeling especially lonely. Granted, sometimes her friend was able to speak sense to her, remind her that she really shouldn't be throwing her reputation to ruin. No one wanted a *DOLPHIN NOISES* for a leader after all.
Speaking of said friend she found him at the training fields. He seemed very focused on what he was doing she stood silent, watching him fight. For a child of a minor god he was good with a sword, she remembered even she was surprised when she first sparred against him. Then again, she hated that she even had that idea in her head. She suppose it was from all the people basically ranking themselves based on their parent, big three kids obviously the most powerful. Which made Felicity wonder, if big three kids were so powerful what was to make the child of Titans less powerful? They were the cousins of the big three, a majority of them at least. It was a thought that plagued Felicity's dreams at night. She didn't want to run into them. She wouldn't admit it out loud but she was afraid of them.
The head of the dummy falling brought her attention back out of her thoughts and she frowned at Justin. "You know we only have so many of those. Now we're down one more." Felicity teased at him, turning her frown into a small smile. "But that was good technique. You could teach some people here a thing or two." Felicity said as she walked over and grabbed the head to the practice dummy and looked at where it was cut to see if there was any hope of mending the equipment.
